Where it all began
Founded in 2017, G&A ROBOT was built on a simple belief: automation should make everyday life more convenient while delivering better products and experiences.
Our story
Founder Steven Zhang brought together a multidisciplinary founding team: Kai Geng, an engineering specialist; Leo Li, an experienced foodservice operator; and Aaron Liang, focused on product and beverage innovation. Together, they began exploring a smarter approach to automated beverage preparation and foodservice.
From 2017 to 2024, the team concentrated on research, development, testing, and continuous refinement. During this period, G&A ROBOT advanced its robotic equipment, software systems, food safety standards, certifications, operational processes, and overall customer experience.
In 2024, G&A ROBOT launched its first commercial robot, followed by an early deployment at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Canada. The positive customer response marked an important milestone, validating the product, the service model, and its commercial potential.
Since then, G&A ROBOT has continued to expand its network of strategic and investment partners, growing into a company with more than 15 departments, over 100 partners, and 300+ robot deployments across numerous cities and locations. With more than one million cups served to date, our growing network continues to bring automated food and beverage service to more communities, businesses, and high-traffic destinations worldwide.
